Are you on a budget? Do you love vintage finds but don’t like the thrift store? Do you just love vintage anything? Are you about to redecorate your dorm, apartment, and/or house? I’ve fell in love with Estate Sales! As of recently my friends have been urging me to check out some local estate sales. From what I’ve picked up estate sales are basically yard sales but more high quality and almost EVERYTHING in the house is being sold. Everything including furniture, clothes, cabinets, decor, etc. Some of the stuff I picked up I absolutely adore!

I bought EVERYTHING all 6 items for $10 & we bought a cute little toddler foldable chair for an additional $1.50 that’s not pictured. Yes, TEN DOLLARS. We averaged each piece to be about $1.66 so for the sake of those non-math literate folks (aka me) I’ll round it up to $2 :)

Pictured above are 5 of the items I got.

I got a cute v-shaped necklace, a large scallop-like necklace and a gold two linked chocker with 3 diamond-like pieces! Also some large gold clip on’s (which I buy frequently and lose frequently).

As of recently I’ve been searching the Urban Outfitters site for inspiration for my apartment! What I noticed was a few pieces of really creative bowls that they use to store jewelry. I had bought a few last year but they were extremely small and wooden but did me justice. So I decided to buy a clear heart shaped catch all dish with gold outlining! I will be using it to store rings, watches, and earrings for my new apartment!

The 6th and final item I purchased was this yellow-vintage hat! It is super cute to throw on when I have my natural hair out!

Pink flower dress: $1 Diva Diva Boutique

Hat: $2 Estate Sale

Purse: $10 H&M

Clutch: Nude Ralyks

Earrings: $2

Necklace: $2

I paired these items with my recent pick up from Ralyks (unfortunately they sold out but I’m sure the designer will be doing custom orders before they launch their newest collection BUT you can check out our interview with the designer extraordinaire here). I absolutely love clutches and nude so it goes great with my All Gold Everything lifestyle (that was suppose to be punny).

*to find out more about estate sales and what not just type in your zip code or city + estate sales & different websites will show the listings closest to your area :) here is a link to my favorite estate sales website, they send out emails every week updating me on what estate sales are going on in my area*

Here’s a few pictures from the one I went to in Stone Mountain, GA. It was a beautiful home and we met some lovely women who ran the Estate Sale. It was really interesting hearing how they made a business out of estate sales. The company was Southern Sisters Estate Sales!
